About us

ETA first specialised in manufacturing of storage and process tanks for the dairy product sector. ETA is now a market leader in France and Europe and a recognised player in the export market.
We are based in Rians, in the heart of France, and open to the world, our dynamic development ensures growing activity on all 5 continents.

We implement a with the market, driven approach and are aware of the requirements and specific aspects of the food pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries.

We are also developing our product lines and diversifying our business, with the main objective of assisting our customers in their quest for excellence.

  • Historical

  • 1959

    Creation of ETA, by Mr. Estève, Triballat, and Mr. Aconin with the objective ofmaking milk handling and transport easier by replacing collection containers.

  • 1964

    ETA applied for a patent on the vacuum engine for its tanks.

  • 1971

    Creation of a sheet metal workshop for tank, vessel and CIP manufacturing.

  • 1981

    Extension of the sheet metal workshop for the manufacture of tanks

  • 1991

    Construction of a new workshop for the manufacture of rolling stock.

  • 1995

    Diversification of the activities of ETA in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemical industry.

  • 2005

    Implementation of the quality process.

  • 2006

    Creation of the Saint Pierre Le Guillard financial holding company and 1st step to the creation of the SPLG Group, which includes its subsidiaries: ETA, PMS and Servinox, with O. Huez as the majority shareholder.

  • 2018

    Launching of the POLYCOOK, industrial food processor.

  • 2019

    ETA celebrates its 60th anniversary
